I couldn't help but think of that line as well as the entire song while watching this scene unfold before me. Actually, hot chocolate was being served but I highly doubt any cigars were being smoked. Steam Railroading Institute's North Pole Express, led by the Pere Marquette 1225 approaches the North Pole (Ashley, Michigan) loaded with kids of all ages eager to see Santa.
The Pere Marquette 1225 served as the model for the steam engine in the movie "Polar Express".
