rare LOC surprise
After evaluating an old collection, for sale in Beeville, John and I spent the rest of the afternoon on the Live Oak County roads, since they have had some rain lately. This specimen turned out to be a great surprise, as it was so dirty when I first spotted it, I believed it was simply a botryoidal chunk of George West type petrified wood - now for a better look!
