This is a broken chunk of an agate/geode from collecting at the new site called Tecolote. It is a prime example of how good agate can be from this locality, showing a translucent skin, with pink, purple and yellow fortifications and a druzy quartz center. This piece is about a fourth of what would have been a much larger agate and it is approximately 3 and 1/2 inches long by 2 inches wide.
