Public Immersion : A ritual started to defy the Britishers' rule of prohibition of Public Gathering, has Lost it's significance today, resulting into a Mob frenzy. Bereft of the grandeur with which the the elephant-headed God had strode along the streets of the city, Mumbaikars woke up to this sad sight of the beautiful idols with those big blue eyes still intact, left on the riverbank in broken conditions. Well, these are the dark scenes which I Photographed. The reality. What a mockery to Lord! Well, It is time for the steadfast devout nation to understand that it is disrespectful to the God to be lying around like garbage. Well, just can't pen down my experience of Photographing the aftermath. Felt as if I was standing in admist a battlefield. It left us with collective lumps in the throat and a surge of flushed eyes near the tear ducts. Please do go through the Photographs, and also spread the awareness.
