15AUG2012:Imzadi is fit as a fiddle after consistent training for 6 1/2 months. Now I have to get back in shape after a foot injury (not caused by Imzadi).
Imzadi says: "Do you think this bridle makes my nose look long?". I'll have my first lesson in a year next week. There is a covered arena with special shock absorbing footing.
The barefoot trim for these conditions requires a pronounced mustang roll. It requires specialized knowledge to keep a barefoot draft in soft wet conditions like this but it is easy on her joints. I do miss being out west where all you needed to do was get a trim every 6 weeks. Picking was a bad word out there.
