Alternative for Germany (AFD) is a far-right to right-wing extremist party in Germany.
The AfD is increasingly open to working with far-right groups like Pegida.
Parts of the AfD are racist, anti-Islamic, anti-Semitic, xenophobic and homophobic, associated with far-right movements such as neo-Nazism.
The AFD of Lower Saxony has its state party convention in Oldenburg (Oct. 27 and 28, 2018).
