Lots of options... drop in filter at the rear, dial to spin the lens along the tripod mount so you don't gave to change the camera itself, 3 stabilization modes...
With my 70-200 for scale. The button near the front is to pause AF however I wish it could be set as the shutter button so you could handhold it by the tripod extension and the front...
In its hard case with giant hood reversed and leather & fabric lenscap in place...
A present from Canon, I had a chance to play with this amazing lens a couple of weeks ago...
I absolutely hate it!!! (for making my other lenses look bad ; )
I was able to shoot some outdoor football, indoor basketball, the local skatepark at sunset, and some local wildlife. It produced some stunning shots.
For this shot I got to try out my new Nikon D70 w the 50mm 1.8 AF lens from my F4...
