Another Railroad Application Submitted
A week ago, I applied for the Conductor position offered by Iowa Interstate Railroad in Blue Island, Illinois. Only three positions were open, and after checking the site this morning, it appears the railroad is still accepting applications and resumes for the position.
I will wait until after the position closes to contact IAIS to find out the status of my application, and in the meantime, I will continue applying to local railroads. If hired by IAIS, I may have no other choice but to move to the Blue Island area even though I would like to continue residing near the UP Geneva Subdivision, which I've spent all but four years of my life near. This is a wait-and-see game, but whatever is thrown at me, I will most likely accept it and view it as an opportunity.
