Orgosolo, Sardegna

Orgosolo is a sleepy town in old bandit country in Sardinia, Italy. Carrying on in an anarchic vein, its murals were started in the 1960s as a response to recession and social discontent. Some are in memory of the partisans who fought against Facism, others are about women's rights.
