Love was in the hair (and the air) at this year's Starry Night soirée!
Now in its sixth consecutive year, Starry Night has become a fun and festive must on the Toronto social circuit. The 519 fundraising event is regarded as a classy kick-off to the Pride weekend festivities. No wonder Starry Night always attracts the who's who of Toronto society, from celebrities to designers and media personalities, politicians and LGBT leaders, plus beautiful people from all walks of life. Every year, Starry Night welcomed more than 3000 chic revelers.
True to the "Love is in the Hair" theme, drag is a big part of this year's soirée. The party's DJ headliner was none other than Lady Bunny herself. This famed New York drag performer is not only the founder of Wigstock, she's a true drag legend -- and fearless DJ. Plus, her big-hair is sure to be an à propos treat. Also behind the turntables was local cutie Alessandro I (also known for his glorious sense of style and coiffure).
Special guests included Jinkx Monsoon, the winner of Season 5 of OUTtv hit RuPaul's Drag Race. (And it will be her first time performing in Canada!) and Premier Kathleen Wynne.
