Photometry - BL Cam
BL Cam (GD 428) is a SX Phoenicis variable star (SXPHE) in Camelopardalis. SXPHE are short period pulsating variables.
Due to its very short period, among other characteristics, it fits classification as a dwarf Cephied
( adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/1978PASP...90..275M )
Data captured for ~4.5hrs. , 60sec. subexposures
Evening of November 24, 2014
Observed brightness change = 0.34 mag
Observed avg. period = 56.85 minutes (0.0394763 days).
The time between minima was observed to be slightly longer (1.14 min) than the maxima.
