Comfortable air mattresses
The set-up team makes up mattresses for the neighbors and the overnight crew, typically fourteen mattresses. They have sheets, a blanket and sometimes a second blanket, towels, and toiletries. We start with six and six, in two rooms, but we typically shift pallets based on the number of women and men assigned on a given Saturday night. It is very helpful for the drivers to call the weekly coordinator as they depart UMC to relay the number of women and men.
