Il n'y a pas de trace de vente du domaine qui, des premiers seigneurs de Versigny, est venu par héritages successifs au comte Guy-Pierre de Kersaint, son propriétaire actuel.
En 1918, le général Mangin y établit son quartier général où seront dressés les plans de la bataille de la Marne.
