Morton Bartlett (1909 – 1992) American had devoted his life to creating and photographing a series of intricately carved lifelike plaster dolls. He never exhibited his work,

He lived alone in a single room of his Boston apartment with his family of dolls in the other rooms.

One Man's Family obsession. I have made plaster dolls/puppets, but this gentlemans work I find amazing, and disturbing.
