AssyrianPano01

Relief with Winged Spirit, 883-859 BC, from interior wall of the northwest palace of King Ashurnasirpal II at Nimrud in Iraq.

The good folks at the Walters provided a meticulous translation of the inscription but it's a long winded toadying load of crap. The King was mighty bla bla bla. This ego maniacal putz would have put "The Donald" too shame.
