Becky 3.0?
Becky 2.0 was a great and wonderful time in my journey, but I'm wondering if I'm entering a Becky 3.0 phase.
A little more mature than the 2.0 version, a little more established, less marketed on her frills and more on just the basics.
I had a nice "early release" day, my basic costume was mostly from a charity shop a girl friend of mine volunteers with. A simple pair of curvy jeans, a simple top and Oops I forgot something to wear over it, so I stopped by and found a nicely shaped pink sweater to finish the simple basic "casual woman my age" look.
It set the stage for the rest of the day.
I met a long time friend who had just finished up some final chemo treatments. Her doctor says she needs to put some weight on. I've offered her some of mine, but we settled on me taking her out for root beer floats.
Then I had a couple of hours to kill before meeting up for dinner with my local DVG group, so I hit the mall, tired on a number of dresses and other outfit pieces. I was going to run a few other errands, but was enjoying just doing some shopping and trying things on I never got around to them.
Then meet up with my friends for dinner. It was my eighth time out this year, and every time has included some time where I met up with at least one gal from the group.
I have at least 2 more outing this year scheduled and pretty well locked down (ie 2 parties I'll be attending with my sweetie.), but I can see likely at least one other and maybe even a couple more over the holidays.
If so, it will have been a pretty full year. lacking alot of the stuff I was really enjoying before the pandemic hit, but definitely a come back from the last couple of years.

Please, please remember to get out there and cast a responsible and thoughtful vote. There are way too many Q-anon supporting, election denying candidates on the ballot this year. None of them should ever been allowed to have gotten this close to being elected. Some will likely win, but if we are going to hang on to our democracy, most cant win. Be part of preserving our fragile democracy. Thank you.
