Oh, those were the days my friends…

From the way back machine.

 

I was going to get out and get my hair done last week. I was going to try to meet up with a couple of friends and also run a few errands, but I didn’t.

 

I just couldn’t get myself into a good Becky mood, so I didn’t. I did get my hair cut and got most of the other things done, but not dressed up.

 

Things are just so crazy these days, I found myself unable get myself into a positive frame of mind where I would enjoy my outing, so I didn’t.

 

I did enjoy getting to see my stylist and we had a typically wonderful chat while she did my hair, I did meet up with one of my friends (who was also just in drab) for one errand I needed to get done and did a little shopping I needed to get done, but nothing of note to post a picture of here.

 

However, this is a picture from an earlier day with a similar profile, ie getting my hair done, meetings some friends and running some errands, so it will stand in for what I was hoping to do.

 

It was from 5 years ago, when things just weren’t so crazy and upside down. I’m not saying things were perfect, but they certainly weren’t this insane.

PS I’m pretty sure I’ve never posted any pictures of this dress, as I had also found one I liked even better, but I do like this one. It was also a quite memorable day because a few minutes after this picture was taken, I had a wonderful woman to woman chat with a woman who loved my hair that day. The kind of chat I’m sure she had had with other women hundreds of times before, but for me it was truly wonderful. That “Oh that’s a lovely dress, where did you get it?” or “That is a wonderful fragrance, what it is?” kind of casual woman to woman chat.
