This year, I decided to tie up Becky’s year with a little video homage to TV action dramas of the 60s and 70s, “Hawaii 5 O” in this case. The theme was written by Morton Stevens and recorded by “The Ventures”.

 

I’ve tried to capture elements of the original series opening in my video. (Sorry about the picture quality, some footage required several reformattings before it made the final take. I may see if I can somehow clean it up later.) I’ll be interested in hearing which ones you all might have picked up on.

 

Its an active and dynamic theme and while to others Becky may live a rather simple undramatic life, I can assure you, every time Becky steps forth it feels like I should have theme music going with me or at least inside my own head. (Not that it’s a big deal to another else, but it’s a huge deal to me.)

 

Thank you to all my friends who helped make it another wonderful year, even those I didn’t get to see in person.

 

I hope you all had a good year and let’s see what we can make out of 2017.
