Mount Frissell South Slope, Litchfield County (Conn.), 24 July 2013

The south slope of Mount Frissell in the town of Salisbury and historic Litchfield County includes the highest natural elevation (2,380') in the state of Connecticut. This marker indicates not only the state line between Massachusetts and Connecticut, but also the accepted highest natural elevation in Connecticut.
