Mount Frissell South Slope, Litchfield County (Conn.), 24 July 2013

The south slope of Mount Frissell in the town of Salisbury and historic Litchfield County includes the highest natural elevation (2,380') in the state of Connecticut. The highpoint is marked by the green pipe in this photograph. The pipe also marks the state line between Connecticut (lower) and Massachusetts (higher).
