UMO Belarus Trekmaster demonstrator at Thruxton
I know v little about this. Commercial Motor archive 1979 says:
"The UMO Belarus Group was also showing a 4 x 4 on its stand — the Trekmaster.
A forward control goanywhere, it is available as either van or chassis cab. Fitted with a 2.5-litre engine which produces 80bhp, the Trekmaster can be used in two or four-wheel drive form."
I assume UMO Belarus imported trucks from Eastern Europe around 1980. They started selling tractors in UK in late 1960s. It was a Soviet enterprise.
