Small town Gradac. We stopped there for a while :)
Gradac is a tourist resort located near Makarska (Croatia). The population is involved in agriculture, fishing, olive growing and, more recently, tourism and catering. Even though the area of Gradac was inhabited in the ancient times, it was first mentioned as an urban settlement in 1649. Today it is a famous tourist destination with all the necessary catering and tourist facilities. A number of beautiful beaches are located in Gradac, where you can enjoy swimming, sunbathing or relaxing under the shade of the hundred-year-old pine trees. The most famous beach is Gornja Vala which is at the same time the longest beach on the Makarska Riviera. Numerous archeological findings have been discovered here, which testify to its past; from the roman age, Middle Ages all the way until the present. This town has an exceptional sports and recreation offer. Also many types of interesting excursions are available from Gradac, towards the inland as well as the surrounding islands.

Gradac jest kurortem turystycznym leżącym w pobliżu Makarskiej (Chorwacja). Mieszkańcy zajmują się rolnictwem, rybołówstwem i uprawą oliwek, a od niedawna też turystyką. Chociaż obszar Gradac był zamieszkiwany już w czasach starożytnych, to pierwsza wzmianka jako o mieście pochodzi z 1649 roku. Obecnie jest znanym kurortem, posiadającym restauracje i atrakcje turystyczne. Znajduje się tu szereg pięknych plaż, gdzie można się kąpać, opalać lub relaksować w cieniu starych sosen. Najsłynniejszą plażą w Gradac jest Gornja Vala, która jest również najdłuższą plażą na Riwierze Makarskiej. Są tu także liczne znaleziska archeologiczne z czasów rzymskich, średniowiecza oraz innych okresów sięgających współczesności. Miasto posiada szeroką gamę obiektów sportowych i rekreacyjnych. Można też skorzystać z bogatej oferty wycieczkowej w Gradac, zarówno na lądzie jak i łodzią na pobliskie wyspy.
