Zygocactus (Schlumbergera) is a small genus of cacti with six to nine species found in the coastal mountains of south-eastern Brazil. Plants grow on trees or rocks in habitats that are generally shady with high humidity, and can be quite different in appearance from their desert-dwelling cousins. In the European climate, representatives of this genus are grown as ornamental potted plants. Common names for these cacti generally refer to their flowering season. In the Northern Hemisphere, they are called Christmas cactus, Thanksgiving cactus, crab cactus and holiday cactus. In Brazil, the genus is referred to as Flor de Maio (May flower), reflecting the period in which they flower in the Southern Hemisphere.

Szlumbergera, nazywana też: zygokaktus, grudnik, raczek, epifillum zimowe, kaktus Bożego Narodzenia (Schlumbergera) – rodzaj roślin z rodziny kaktusowatych. Obejmuje 6 gatunków występujących w naturze w tropikalnej Ameryce Południowej, w lasach w regionie Rio de Janeiro w Brazylii. Należą tu popularne rośliny ozdobne, znane na półkuli północnej pod zbiorową nazwą kaktus Bożego Narodzenia, kaktus listopadowy, kaktus Dziękczynienia z powodu kwitnienia przypadającego na późną jesień i zimę. W klimacie europejskim przedstawiciele tego rodzaju uprawiane są jako ozdobne rośliny doniczkowe. W naturze rośliny te rosną na drzewach lub skałach w siedliskach, które są na ogół zacienione i mają dużą wilgotność.
