Pinacle rock, Point-Lobos
This was an interesting evening in Monterey. The storm clouds moved quickly through the area and actually produced hail AND snow that day. I have never seen it snow in Big Sur, and the feeling was great. The snow did not last or stuck to the ground. That evening I ended up in Point Lobos park and went down the rocks to photograph this magnificent rock, which is called the Pinnacle rock. There were large waves crushing underneath me and it was a little scary to be on the edge. I knew that if I was to fell down into the sea below – I am a gonner. The adrenalin was rushing through my veins as I was snapping away the beautiful sunset. I have a few more compositions, but this one I liked because of the closer look at the Pinnacle rocks.
