Murakami mural

I was walking around in Namdaemun (the Southern Gate) when I spotted this mural from across the street. I wasn’t sure at first but once I got a closer look, sure enough it was a Takashi Murakami piece. Apparently he’s got a showing here in Seoul called “Takashi in Superflat Wonderland” somewhere around where this picture was taken. Unfortunately I was in a bit of a rush and didn’t have a chance to stick around and find out.

I will definitely be making a trip back, though, once I find out where that gallery is.
