Crawford on the 3rd of June 1963 and Class 40 D210 now carrying the name Empress of Britain is on the Royal Scot 10.00 Euston to Glasgow but not carrying a headboard.
The loco was new from the Vulcan Foundry in May 1959 and allocated to Camden at this time.
Withdrawn as 40010 in July 1981 with a cracked main generator the loco was cut up at Swindon in July 1983.
