FMCbwnegs476 D209 on Master Cutler near Hatfield
Location of this one is given as near Hatfield, no date but Class 40 D209 is on the Master Cutler. As the loco was new to Hornsey in September 1958 and moved to Finsbury Park in April 1960 It left for Stratford in October 1961 so we must be earlier than that.
I left the lady in shot, but whether she was watching the trains or was with the photographer will forever be a mystery.
Becoming 40009 under tops the loco was withdrawn from Longsight in November 1984 and cut up at Doncaster 4 months later.
