FMCbwnegs 031 D411 and D3448 Toton
This was a negative at the beginningof a filmstrip as the 25% on the left was blank as the film had been exposed. The remaining 75% is of interest though. I had assumed it is Crewe depot but the issue is not around the Class 50 which is D411 but around the shunter. I had to crop the image slightly and the loco in question is D3448 definitely which was a Class 10.
According to the BR Database this loco was allocated to Toton and withdrawn on the 8th of June 1968. It was then cut up at the Steelbreaking and Dismantling Co in Chesterfield on the 1st of August 1969.
So not sure if its Crewe or not, any thoughts anyone? Thanks to Rob and Phil below identified as Toton Open Day on the 3rd of August 1968.
