Another shot of the breaking up going on at Chester on the 7th of November 1969 after the runaway goods train (the 02.25 Birkenhead - Etruria iron ore train, weighing approximately 1,000 tons and hauled by D1617 on the 9th of July) entered the depot. The shunters are present as I think it was a convenient to get rid of them at the same time. The 24's withdrawn were D5031, D5043, D5093, D5138 and D5139 . If anyone can identift the shunter numbers please let me know.
