Original plan was to use a pair of Jinties and a Crab though operationally the units were much more suited to the number of reversals.
Page 87 of 'Dawn of the Diesels' by John Spencer Gilks has a different shot here. In many ways better as it shows not only the other end of the train but also the whole station and junction view. It's an amazing thing memory as I had this photo in mind as soon as I purchased the original slide. The only details I started with was 'West Riding Tour 1964.
