Smart Car promoting the site. A few days ago, an Annular Solar Eclipse took place in Central Texas. The path of the event was south of where I live, so I went south to see it. The path went over the Coming King Prayer Gardens, a non-denominational place of prayer and meditation which I had visited two years ago in Kerrville, Texas. The location and weather forecast were favorable for this site, so I viewed the eclipse from there, on October 14, 2023. My cameras cannot photograph the sun, so I have no photos of the event itself.
The Coming King Prayer Gardens is a non-denominational place of prayer and meditation located in Kerrville, Texas. It is surmounted by a monumental steel cross, 77 feet 7 inches (25.9 m) tall. The focus is Biblical, both Old and New Testaments, and symbolic statuary and artwork convey the scriptural message. I first visited this place on March 18, 2021.
