La Sal Mountains and Church Rock

I saw a few interesting things while driving from Cortez, Colorado, to Moab, Utah, on June 3, 2019. One was Church Rock, located next to the road, about 36 miles (58 km) southeast of Moab. To the left of the rock we can see the snow capped peaks of the distant La Sal Mountains. Being late spring, winter snow remained at the higher elevations.
