Ashness Bridge
Ashness Bridge is a traditional stone-built bridge on the single-track road from the Borrowdale road to Watendlath. Loads of birds knocking about, spotted a Peregrine but only had small lenses. The last time I was up here I stayed in the bunkhouse and I went up Great Gable for Remberance Sunday a good few years ago. A lot of snow on the ground as I remember.
