I think these series of advertisements are targeted to a younger generation. Young adults who are just getting out of their parents houses, and making independent, and sometimes stupid decisions. I think it's made to make stupidity and mistakes and experiences rather than things to be embarrassed about or regret. I think a lot of people perceive these advertisements negatively. I think a lot of America's society wants to portray a more classy and conservative and expensive, educated look. I think by making funny jokes, and rhetorical remarks, makes these ad's a bit more endearing and just say be young, and have fun. I think this series has more than just hot skinny models to show off their clothes, but they use images that portray funny, risky, or just plain stupid things to really get their point across. It's a young brand, and young people love learning experiences life hands to us. I think Diesel's new campaign definitely hit that target.
