This is a picture of a soft target. This picture depicts a woman who is texting outside in the dark. She is oblivious to the person behind her and she would be defenseless if he wanted to attack her. Most people who are texting have no idea what is going on around them which is why texting and driving is so dangerous. Most people think nothing of texting while they are walking outside however this is a great oppurtunity for predators to catch a person off guard. This situation can be prevented by waiting to text people until you are in a safe environment and surrounded by people you know, Also, it would be a good idea to avoid talking on the cell phone if you are walking by yourself at night especially. If you aren't an easy target or soft target, you will then you lessen the chances of being attacked or mugged.--Bryan Cingari
