Exercise Yard

The cage above the exercise yard in the KGB museum in Riga, where the guards would stand to keep a very close eye on the prisoners, who experienced outside air for only an hour a day.

 

This summer we took a trip to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Flying first to Riga and staying there a couple of nights before catching the bus to Tallinn.
