Steep Descent
It took us nearly 2 hours to descend from the summit of Ben MacDui and this is why. You can see the angle of slope and it's covered in boulders, quite a few of which move. It was hard going and I was sulking like an 8 year old and wanted out about 2/3rd's of the way down!!
Ben Macdui is the UK's 2nd highest peak (second only to Ben Nevis) and stands at 1309m (4294ft). After descending from this Munro we make a climb to the 2nd Munro of the day, Carn a' Mhaim (pronounced Carn-ah-Vame) at 1037m (3402ft).
