Clearing Weather
Despite how the day started the weather finally started to clear, when we're on the summit of Sgor Mor, although the clouds hung on for dear life on the tops of these four Mumro's. We can see The Devil's point, but behind that, and totally obscured are Cairn Toul, Sgor an Lochain Uaine and Braeriach. The deep valley of Glen Dee leading to the Lairig Ghru marches into the distance. To give a sense of scale, a walkers bothy can just be made out at the foot of Devil's Peak deep in the Glen.
At a height of 2667 feet (813 meters), Sgor Mor doesn't quite qualify as a Munro as it's 333 feet (111 meters) short, but it is a Corbett and offers some great views of the Cairngorms.
