Pyramids, Jebel Barkal, Sudan, North-east Africa

There are two groups of pyramids to the west of the mountain. The first group, to the south west, was erected during the Napatan period between 315 and 270 BCE, with three kings buried there. The biggest pyramid (11) is that of Amekhamani: 322-315 BCE.
