Misterious world of Ruskeala underground.

Underground frozen lake.... Lake (water) depth 70 m. Marble rocks. A unique place, the monument of history.

 

Underground lake (formed in 1928). Unique acoustics, a possibility to look into the depths of the marble.

The average temperature in the tunnels is about +6 +8C all year round. Marble rocks and Ice Saint Isaac's Cathedral are illuminated with multicolored lights which makes this place truly unique and unforgettable.

 

Visiting only with group (Guided tour) in protective helmets.

 

It was very difficult to take photos without a tripod in this darkness (it's impossible to get there with a tripod) but I tried...
