Bono Meets Agathos
Inspired by Bono, my wife and I traveled with a group from our church (www.marshillchurch.org) to Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa in Sept. 2003 to see the epicenter of AIDS for ourselves (Kwa Zulu Natal has an HIV positive rate of 50%).
Following the trip, I quit my corporate job and now volunteer full-time for a non-profit, called The Agathos Foundation (www.agathosfoundation.org), which is dedicated to rescuing widows and orphans whose lives have been devastated by AIDS.
Here' I'm telling Bono about Agathos. Bono's reply was, "WOW! That's amazing!"
