Beating the Heat
It's been terribly hot here in Oklahoma the past several weeks with temps nearing 100 and heat indexes as high as 113. I do not like this time of year.
Today a nearby thunderstorm kept the heat at bay (until this afternoon) but this morning it was very nice, only 80 degrees with a breeze tinged with the sweet smell of rain. I went for a drive and found these two mares and their foals taking a dip in a pond.
