Sharp-shinned Hawk

Recently I have watched Sharp-shinned Hawks migrate down the west side of Lake Winnipeg. They are fun to watch because of their speed, their agility, and penchants to change altitude and turn sharply. Often they come at you from odd angles.

 

However, most of the shot opportunities are from considerable distance.
