Snowy Owl
This was my first Snowy of the 2020/21 season back in November. A great first owl with personality and a calm manner, as his expression indicates. This pole was at a usually quiet rural intersection, which had a few vehicle passing while he and I were there. He was curious and looked down at each of them.
I was standing at a good distance with a very long lens enjoying his reactions. Eventually he flew when a large and noisy hydro truck made a commotion at the turn.
