1990 XJ-S Diamond Blue V12 Convertible. Isis Blue Interior

1st day in the garage!! I always wanted a Jag V12 Convert, after having 2 6 cylinder XJ6s. I had just washed and waxed it. Time for a mountain of work to do. Plan is as follows (I hope not alot of scope creep occurs):

-6.0 V12 engine and 4L80E transmission possible manual in future

-polyurethane suspension bushings

-Addco front and rear anti-rollbars

-3.54 limited slip rear end

-ceramic coated exhaust manifolds and euro downpipes (exhaust is in pretty good shape, would like aj6 extractor pipes in future)

-remove air pump and associated plumbing, use euro tensionor pulley

-convert to R-134a refrigerant.

-dual electric fans, and remove mechanical fan.

-Harvey Bailey Engineering front cross brace for convertible

-refurb top

-refurb interior seats and carpet.

-16" x 8" lattice wheels, all silver finish, with 255 wide rear tires (know this will work), and hopefully 255 up front (will find out).

So the overall goal with this car is to keep it looking stock, with a better suspension, a bit more power, and reduce the underhood temps.
