Pecking order dispute
We had a visit from some Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos this afternoon to some nearby pine trees where they were using their strong beaks to prise open the cones to get to the seeds.
These three females seem to have a little dispute when one landed down among the other two. Lots of squawking and pecking at each other ensued before it flew off again leaving the one in the foreground cowering low in the grass.
