Administrative Professionals Day Gift Tags ~ 2009
I love giving personalized items as gifts. For Administrative Professionals Day this year, I simply used the first initial of each recipient's name to communicate the destination of each gift.
These gift tags added a personal touch, but they weren't difficult to create. In Photoshop, I used a free texture offered by Abby Lanes for the background. After placing the single initial on top of the texture and adding a light drop shadow, I had the tags printed on card stock at our local print shop. I attached them to the gift bags using curling ribbon. With the addition of some colorful tissue paper, the gifts were ready to be delivered.
Of course, the contents are much more important than the decoration on the outside of the package, but it's always nice for the presentation to have a personal touch, because the real star of the show is actually the receiver ... not the gift.
