Lampshade Crystals

These crystals and beads dangle from a small lampshade in my living room.

The main challenge for me with this shot was working with the shallow depth of field.

The second challenge was having to carefully and meticulously dust each strand of crystals before photographing them.

I can't fool my new Sigma 150mm Macro Lens into thinking I'm an expert housekeeper. If I photograph an object that hasn't been dusted recently, the lens reveals that fact in amazing detail. I think my next photo shoot is going to be outside.
