Project - Warwickshire, Stratford-upon-Avon

No. 4 - 5: Exploring Stratford-upon-Avon.

The Old Bank is relatively modern compared to the many timber framed buildings in Chapel Street. However, it is a fine example of Victorian architecture in vivid, red brick. Now housing the HSBC Bank, The Old Bank is worth external study. Here, look out for the capitals of the marble columns on each side of the entrance porch and a mosaic of the Shakespeare above the entrance.
