Using My Nut
For this image I wanted to make the negative space as important as the foreground. Rather than going down the 'open space around an object' route, I've tried to design a shape between the objects.
I used focus stacking to achieve a crisp line around the items to enhanced the background shape. Incidentally I choose the nut as the hexagon shape matched the angles of the calipers.
Despite the image being a little bit on the ugly side, I've enjoyed the challenge. For the 'Macro Monday' - 'Negative Space' challenge 4th December 2016.
